Hot dog cookout at the beach has been changed to Saturday, May 23rd.

The hot dog cookout at the beach is going to be moved from Sunday to Saturday due to the weather forecast. It will now be on Saturday, May 23rd, at 1 pm. Free hot dogs, chips, and a drink. Please pass the word to those that may not be on Facebook or see the website? Hope to see you there.

This would be a great solution for those who can't get to their place often enough. Or maybe you would like to relax as soon as you get there for the weekend and don't want to have to start on the chore list immediately.

The how and why.

Years ago when I was looking for a lake front cabin I stumbled across a realtor ad for Lake of the Oaks. There was nothing on the web about our lake.

Everything had to be learned by chasing people down and making phone calls. I couldn't believe that in the age of the Internet, information about the lake was left in the Stone Age. I decided to do something about that when I became an owner.

Always interested in technology, I enjoy providing information and updates to fellow owners and prospects. Please let me know if its working.
