Here's Libby showing excellent form in the dock diving competition. She's my sister's dog and visits regularly. She had jumped hesitantly from the dock in the past. This weekend I "bumped" her off the dock in chase of her chew toy. Soon, Dona had her jumping regularly. Then we held her back from the edge so she could get a running start and now she's all about this style. A great dog who loves the water. Click on the photo for a closer view. It was a great weekend at the lake.
You can see Bob out in his bass boat just about any weekend he makes it to the lake. This photo pretty much guarantees that you'll continue to see him out there. This is 6 lb 2 oz. Largemouth. It is 23 1/2 inches long and was caught and released Saturday morning (6/8/13). Bob submitted the photo but interestingly enough, he didn't say where he caught it or what he was using. Great catch Bob!
Years ago when I was looking for a lake front cabin I stumbled across a realtor ad for Lake of the Oaks. There was nothing on the web about our lake.
Everything had to be learned by chasing people down and making phone calls. I couldn't believe that in the age of the Internet, information about the lake was left in the Stone Age. I decided to do something about that when I became an owner.
Always interested in technology, I enjoy providing information and updates to fellow owners and prospects. Please let me know if its working.
