I've never been to the American Legion in Palmyra, MO before. I haven't even been to Palmyra either. I won't be able to say that after Saturday night (Sept 20th). I'm sure this will be a good time with lots of friendly people. If they know Donnie and Julie they must be good people. If someone wants to ride with Maria and I from the lake, send me an email or stop by and let me know.

These photos are from Corrie Noble, Rick Adamire, Kevin & Karen Semrow, Beth Davis, and Carol Genck. It's our very own, Kevin Semrow. You can choose whatever you like and Kevin can make it happen with his chainsaw. His creativity and attention to detail is second to none. You'll be impressed and probably never forget where you live. This is some amazing work. If you'd like a custom log cut, call Kevin at 319-795-4973. (click on the photos for a closer look)
At the 2014 annual meeting some folks thought we should get a Facebook page. As of August no one put one out there so I set one up. A lot of what you'll see is also on the website. But you'll also see posts and comments from friends of LOTO that you would NOT see on the website, which makes it interesting. Post your photos, share what's going on, etc. Tons of people are on Facebook so it's a great way to get our name out there and have some fun.
The weather has been sunny and hot, with a little humidity. Turned out better than it the forecast predicted. A little rain last night and today is nice and breezy. I wasn't in the zone when it came to taking photos but it's been an active weekend. The Labor Day gathering was a success. Bill Davis provided the pork from his smoker and no one brought a bad dessert. Plenty of pontoons were out with many pulling the younger ones on tubes. Kayakers were littered all over the place as well. And it's till not the end of the holiday weekend.
