The Labor Day get together was as nice as always. Attendance was down just bit but I imagine the heat had something to do with that. The food never disappoints. Thanks to Bill and Beth Davis for smoking the pork and donating it for the supper. It tasted great and was available plain or BBQ. Plenty of sides and deserts completed a very nice evening. Thanks to all who donated prizes for the raffle!
With temperatures near 100 degrees, it's going to be a scorcher on the last official weekend of the summer. Don't forget the Labor Day gathering at the clubhouse. It's at 5 pm on Saturday. Bring a dish or desert to share. The raffle will be set up and it's a great time to visit your fellow owners.

The how and why.
Years ago when I was looking for a lake front cabin I stumbled across a realtor ad for Lake of the Oaks. There was nothing on the web about our lake.
Everything had to be learned by chasing people down and making phone calls. I couldn't believe that in the age of the Internet, information about the lake was left in the Stone Age. I decided to do something about that when I became an owner.
Always interested in technology, I enjoy providing information and updates to fellow owners and prospects. Please let me know if its working.
