Looking for your generosity, again!

LOTO Association members: A couple of years ago we coordinated a fundraising effort to make improvements to the beach. We raised about $4,500 and the result was a greater use of the beach area by our owners and guests. It seems to get more popular every year. Now, our board is using our funds to invest in a picnic shelter (see the concept drawing attached). It's going to cost over $4,000, and that's with 100% of the labor donated.
I would like to see if we can get enough donations to provide 4 eight foot picnic tables for the new shelter, and have them match the ones on the beach. With taxes, shipping, and 4 tables, we're looking at $3,500. They are expensive, but they are commercial quality and the ones we have look great after a few years.
All costs in, each table will be $875. There will only be 4. One table will be handicap accessible at the end, meaning the table would extend past the seat so a wheelchair can be pulled up to it. That came to mind when thinking about our lake resident Patrick Stevenson (RIP buddy). If you and your family would like to pick up the entire cost of a table, I will have an engraved "Donated By:" or "In Memory Of:", etc. tag mounted to the table, first come, first served on that. You can message me to commit and I'll reserve the table for you. Checks can be made out to me as we did last time. They can be mailed or delivered by hand. I'll post totals on the Facebook page. If you donate, I will post your name but NOT the amount, unless you ask me not to post your name at all. The number of donors last time impressed everyone.

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.

    The how and why.

Years ago when I was looking for a lake front cabin I stumbled across a realtor ad for Lake of the Oaks.  There was nothing on the web about our lake.

Everything had to be learned by chasing people down and making phone calls.  I couldn't believe that in the age of the Internet,  information about the lake was left in the Stone Age.  I decided to do something about that when I became an owner.

Always interested in technology, I enjoy providing information and updates to fellow owners and prospects. Please let me know if its working.
