Well, here's some seriously awesome news. Our board took the initiative on this proposal. We're getting a picnic shelter down at the beach! It will be 16' wide and 38' long. It will be built similar to the covered portion of our clubhouse. It will be located up on the hill where the picnic table and grill are now. The old concrete that is up there will be covered and a new, larger pad will be poured. Bill Davis will be the project manager, and we should all be thankful for that. My guess is that there will be plenty of opportunities for those interested to pitch in and help. This is going to be a welcome addition to our list of amenities. A big thank you to our directors for making this happen!
