At the Board of Director's meeting this morning, the beach area was designated as a no smoking area. This came about from the cigarette butts that were being left on the sand, in the water, and buried in the sand, and then having to be picked up by others. The butts don't decompose and somehow people think burying them in the sand gets rid of them. Then the kids get to dig them up when playing at the beach.
There will be a designated smoking area at the beach, probably up by the concrete pad and grill area. Please don't leave your trash up there either. Our lake is our property. If you see any trash in the lake area, please pick it up. it is your lake as much as it is anyone else's. Please use common sense and common courtesy when enjoying the lake and all it has to offer.
