Reminder postcards are going out next week.

Just over 16% of our fellow lake owners have donated to the beach project. I will be sending out reminder postcards to everyone who hasn't donated to the beach project yet. Not to bug them but to gently remind them. If anyone else is like me, sometimes I put things to the side and tell myself I won't forget to get back to it. But I generally do forget. So for anyone that's like me, your postcard is on it's way. We're are up to $2,300 and I'd like to go over our goal by a bit if at all possible. If you talk to any of your fellow association members, please ask them if they have donated yet. It will benefit all of us, not just those who use the beach.

The how and why.

Years ago when I was looking for a lake front cabin I stumbled across a realtor ad for Lake of the Oaks. There was nothing on the web about our lake.

Everything had to be learned by chasing people down and making phone calls. I couldn't believe that in the age of the Internet, information about the lake was left in the Stone Age. I decided to do something about that when I became an owner.

Always interested in technology, I enjoy providing information and updates to fellow owners and prospects. Please let me know if its working.
