Some fixes

Heard that some folks, when trying to type in lakeoftheoaks.net into their internet browser, were getting an "under construction" message.

Not sure what that's about.  When typing www.lakeoftheoaks.net, the site comes up fine.  So I spoke to the domain host today and I changed some DNS settings to hopefully fix that.  Just to let you know that I don't put "under construction" messages up in place of the site.

​Remember, I do this for free and you get what you pay for.  :-)

All, I transferred the domain name to a new company. You should always get to the website regardless of whether or not you put www in front of the address now.

    The how and why.

    Years ago when I was looking for a lake front cabin I stumbled across a realtor ad for Lake of the Oaks.  There was nothing on the web about our lake.

    Everything had to be learned by chasing people down and making phone calls.  I couldn't believe that in the age of the Internet,  information about the lake was left in the Stone Age.  I decided to do something about that when I became an owner.

    Always interested in technology, I enjoy providing information and updates to fellow owners and prospects. Please let me know if its working.
