On Saturday we had a little work party. Actually, it was a lot of work. Bob Bergman, Jae and Dave Powell, Gerald Poulter all showed up. Malinda Poulter and Maria Hornstein arrived and provided water support and made sure we were doing things right. We removed the old signs and put in the new ones. You'll have to walk around the signs or see them from the water. They are two sided. One of the signs has the same verbage on both sides. The other sign is different on each side. Kevin Semrow framed the signs and I think he built them to withstand a tornado. He did an EXCELLENT job. Took him 3 days to do it right. Thanks Kevin.
We also installed the " Anti-Goose" device Which is a light located at the far end of the beach. Please help us by keeping everyone away from the device. It could take a few weeks to see what effect it has on keeping the geese away. The grill was installed along with the refinished picnic table. And the greenery is compliments of Bob Bergman. The plant grew too big for his deck so it was transplanted in the barrel by the grill. 3.5 hours later we were all done. Couldn't have done it without them! One more thing. Thanks again to Chris and Sabe Goetz for the use of the powered auger. We'd still be there if we didn't have that thing.
